Natalie Spencer
Lactation Consultant
My Story
Natalie is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a mother of two boys. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Simmons University in Boston, USA and a graduate diploma of midwifery (Grad Dip) from the University of Technology Sydney.
Natalie has worked for over 10 years to help support women and their families across the full spectrum of the maternity and childbirth care setting, working both in hospital, outpatient clinics and the home setting. She is passionate about helping women and their families feel empowered through evidence-based education, to make the best and most appropriate decisions for themselves when it comes to feeding their babies.
As a lactation consultant at Bulb, Natalie takes a non-biased and holistic approach to support you and your baby on your feeding journey no matter where you are at and no matter how you are feeding your baby. Whether you simply need reassurance that feeding is going well, you’re struggling with low supply, your baby won’t latch to the breast or you’re pregnant and wondering if your medical condition will affect breastfeeding - Natalie can support you.
Natalie provides lactation consultations both at Bulb’s centre and can also see you in your home for a home visit.
